Twenty-five exciting years working internationally, creating award-winning advertising, social campaigns, writing and directing TV commercials, documentaries, corporate films, digital content, animations, photography, books, and setting up and running companies in London and Abu Dhabi, winning new business, building brands, helping change laws and lives, whilst working with and learning from the best.

Career Highlights

Running a bilingual creative department of twenty-five at MEMAC Ogilvy Bahrain and transforming it from a traditional creative department into one with digital at its core. Winning new business and winning awards,
including a Cannes Lion, a first in the agency‘s history in Bahrain.

Wrote and directed a viral TVC to launch YAS Mall in Abu Dhabi featuring the F1 World Champions Infiniti Red Bull Racing team. Six weeks prior to the mall’s opening the film had truly gone viral with over 1,800,000 hits on YouTube.

Co-wrote and directed a campaign for The Mayor of London to raise awareness amongst 18-24 year olds of the importance of registering to vote. The campaign saw the amount of eligible voters between the ages of 18-24 grow from 8 percent to 29 percent.

As a member of the steering group for the London Week of Peace, I worked alongside representatives of The Mayor of London office, The Metropolitan Police and members of different faith organisations to produce campaigns to help prevent knife crime and promote peace across London.

Conceived, developed and photographed the award-winning book ‘Best of British Fish’ helping raise awareness of the plight of the British Fishing Industry and 40,000 GBP for Royal National Mission for Deep Sea Fishermen.

Wrote and produced an award-winning charity film for ECPAT (End Child Prostitution, Pornography and Trafficking). Directed by Tony Kaye, ‘The Salesman’ became fundamental to the amendment of the Register of Sex Offenders Act. New York Festivals - Silver World Medal.

At Leo Burnett co-wrote and produced the award-winning nursing recruitment campaign which became the COI’s
most effective direct response campaign recording over 90,000 responses in six weeks.
